You may use the website to find information about our appliance repair services and to contact us. Please don’t:

• submit false, misleading or someone else’s details through our forms; or

Information on the website

The website provides general information about appliance faults and repairs, including simple checks you can do before booking. This information is a general guide only. Every appliance is different, so always follow your manufacturer’s instructions and safety advice.

Don’t open an appliance’s casing or work on its electrical parts yourself. Microwaves in particular contain components that can hold a dangerous charge even when unplugged. If an appliance sparks, smells of burning or trips the electricity, switch it off and stop using it.

We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee that all information is complete, current or free of errors, and we may change it at any time.

Enquiries and bookings

When you send an enquiry or booking request through the website, by WhatsApp or by phone, you are asking us to contact you. It is not a confirmed booking and does not, on its own, create a contract for repair work.

We will contact you to confirm the details and arrange a visit. As described on this website, we diagnose the fault and give you a quote before any repair work starts, and nothing goes ahead without your approval. The terms that apply to a specific repair will be the ones agreed with you at that time.

Third-party services and links

The website includes links that open WhatsApp and your phone’s dialler. When you use WhatsApp, your use of that service is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites or services.

Intellectual property

The website’s text, design, logo and layout belong to Clearfix Repairs or are used with permission. Photographs on the website are stock images used under their providers’ licences. You may view and print pages for your personal use, but you may not copy, republish or distribute the content without our written permission.

Liability

We provide the website “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or from relying on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under South African consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
